Supported Independent Living (SIL)
We can help you find a home sweet home with our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services.
What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?
Supported Independent Living is sometimes called shared accommodation.
SIL is an NDIS support where a person with a disability lives with other people. You will also receive support with everyday tasks like cleaning, cooking and personal care.
At RLC we work in partnership with purchasers, housing providers, employers, colleges, community groups, individuals and families to offer a wide range of flexible, innovative and person centred support solutions that promote independence and encourage people to take control of their own lives and direct their own support. Support can be purchased through NDIS, through a personal budget, and can be tailored to suit your individual needs. In addition to traditional forms of supported living we offer a broad range of solutions including:
- Lifelong Learning / Day Opportunities
- Vocational Learning
- Forensic Support
- Respite & Outreach
- Support in the Community
- Support at Home
- Support through transition
